PROJECT SUMMARY
I was tasked with consolidating input from a Strategic Vision Session into a summary document that encapsulated what was discussed. The document had to explain the event to those who had not attended and accurately curate main points and insights gleaned by the 80 session participants. I designed a logo that symbolized the unity the session participants had achieved and bonded them to the goals and objectives they had crafted together at the Vision Session long after it was over. It also had to be delightful. The logo design reflects three important aspects of the Vision Session. First, design was the main channel for all content; therefore I incorporated the design of a bridge called the Baltimore truss. Second, the icon had to convey that we were aiming to bridge the gap between what existed currently and the desired future state. Third, the idea for the bridge was dreamed by student participants at the session and I wanted to stress that the importance of their perspectives being heard.
