PROJECT SUMMARY
​We led classmates in our Creative Business Thinking class through an in-class design sprint to introduce them to the design thinking process.

This workshop was led by Natalie R. Levy. Yeri Kim and I acted as co-facilitators.

In the 1.5 hour session, we introduced participants to the rules of brainstorming and walked them through 3 team exercises that focused on empathizing with the user, defining user needs, and ideating potential solutions.

Facilitating the workshop mostly required: reminding students to defer judgement when others were sharing concepts that they considered unfeasible or outlandish; encouraging students to lean into their intolerance with the ambiguity of the process; and coaching resistors about how they could utilize the design thinking process in their specific industry or field.
